Report: Browns not interested in veteran receiver Owens
Cleveland Browns Veteran free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens has yet to find a home this offseason, and you can now count out the Cleveland Browns.
Browns general manager Tom Heckert told The Plain Dealer that while he hasn't ruled out adding a veteran receiver, Owens is "not on our radar."
Brown and Gocong to the Browns
The Eagles have traded cornerback Sheldon Brown and linebacker Chris Gocong to the Browns for fourth and fifth round draft picks and linebacker Alex Hall, the team announced today.
The Eagles will have the 104th overall pick in the fourth round and the 137th overall pick in the fifth round. They now have ten draft picks.
Cribbs, Browns have framework of a deal in place
The Browns and Josh Cribbs have made significant progress toward a new contract, NFL.com reported.
Neither the team nor Cribbs have confirmed the progress or provided a timetable on when a deal might be reached. But a sign of progress is marked improvement for Cribbs, the Pro Bowler who vowed after the season ended that he wouldn't return to Cleveland unless the team reworked his deal.

He first mentioned that Kevin Kolb, the quarterback who is making the Eagles think about trading McNabb, was taken in the second round by current Browns General Manager Tom Heckert. But get this: The Kolb pick first belonged to the Browns, who traded it to Dallas in the Brady Quinn deal. Then the Cowboys shipped it to the Eagles in another trade.
